The American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (ASPAN)
Announces its 2011 – 2012 Board of Directors

CHERRY HILL, NEW JERSEY—The American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (ASPAN) announced at its 30th National Conference (April 3-7, 2011) in Seattle, WA, the election results for its 2011-2012 Board of Directors.

The election included the installation of ASPAN’s new president, Chris Price, MSN, RN, CPAN, CAPA and new Vice President/President-Elect, Susan Carter, BSN, RN, PHN, CPAN, CAPA.

ASPAN’s Board members’ terms for the current year commence at the Society’s annual National Conference.

The American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (ASPAN) represents the interests of over 55,000 nurses who practice in preanesthesia and postanesthesia care, outpatient surgery, and pain management.  Approximately 40 million anesthetics are administered annually in the United States.
