The American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (ASPAN) announces its 2004 – 2005 National President

Cherry Hill, New Jersey – April 23, 2004 -- The American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (ASPAN) announces that Dina A. Krenzischek, MAS, RN, CPAN, became the national President at its 23rd annual National Conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, April 18 – 22, 2004.

Ms. Krenzischek is currently a Nurse Manager of multiple PACU units at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Ms. Krenzischek earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Paul College in Manila, Philippines.  She graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Masters in Administrative Science, and is certified in Post Anesthesia Nursing.  Ms. Krenzischek has been a member of ASPAN since 1990.  She has won numerous awards from ASPAN, Johns Hopkins Hospital, and nationally in regards to research and nursing achievement.  She recently was appointed by the Governor of Maryland to serve on the statewide “Commission on Nursing Crisis”.

Ms. Krenzischek’s main focus for her presidency is “Vision in Action”.

The American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (ASPAN) is the international professional specialty nursing organization representing the interests of over 40,000 nurses practicing in all phases of a preanesthesia and postanesthesia care, ambulatory surgery, and pain management.
