The ASPAN Safety SWT exists to promote a safety culture for perianesthesia nursing practice. ASPAN’s infrastructure promotes collaboration across committees and workgroups to best address and meet safety strategic goals. Partnerships are formed between committees, strategic work teams, and perianesthesia practice experts.
The environment of care is guided by research and evidence based practice. Within the environment of care, the nurse’s foci are:
