Hello- curious if your PACU or outpatient surgery settings complete nursing care plans on patients going home same day? We use a care plan in outpatient and then a different care plan in PACU currently.

Our charting stanard is to initiate and resolve a nursing care plan that is specific to the perioperative area. This is done whether the patient is admitted or is discharged the same day
