After reviewing ASPAN’s Strategic Plan and our Compelling Vision, describe your vision as a national leader to keep the organization current and relevant in the existing healthcare environment to meet the needs of the membership.  How will you assure ASPAN is strategically positioned to accomplish our goals and objectives?

My vision as an ASPAN leader is to keep our organization current and relevant by fostering collaboration and ensuring member support. While the organization investigates the enhancement and restructure process, it is essential that members are informed and trust in ASPAN’s direction and vision. By strengthening regional collaboration, I will create an environment that respects diverse viewpoints and leverages collective expertise to guide our future direction. By centering collaboration, education, and readiness for transition, we can assure ASPAN continues to meet the evolving needs of our members and our specialty. Preparing members for organizational change ensures ASPAN remains resilient and strategically aligned with the future of healthcare. I believe that evidence-based education and perianesthesia nursing professional development must remain the cornerstone, providing high-quality, accessible learning opportunities that enhances perianesthesia nursing practice. This is what distinguishes ASPAN as the premier organization for perianesthesia professional development and excellence.
