Investing in ASPAN’s Future: Membership Dues Update

ASPAN has continued to grow, evolve, and expand the ways we support our members and advance the specialty of perianesthesia nursing. As we look ahead to the future of the association, the ASPAN Board of Directors has approved an adjustment to the annual membership dues, our first increase in eight years:

• Active Membership: $88 → $110
• Affiliate: $143 → $155
• International: $115 → $125
• Retired: $66 → $70
• Student: $66 → $70

This decision was made thoughtfully and with careful consideration of both the current needs of the organization and the opportunities ahead. More importantly, this increase represents an investment in ASPAN’s future and in the value we provide to our members.

The additional resources will allow ASPAN to move forward with several important initiatives, including:

• A new website and association management system launching in 2027 to improve the member experience and access to resources
• Additional staff support dedicated to strengthening and growing ASPAN’s new regional structure
• Free access to all Specialty Practice Groups, previously $15 each (available to all Active, Retired, and Affiliate members)
• Continued free educational webcasts through ASPAN Learn
• Expanded marketing and public relations efforts to raise awareness and visibility of the perianesthesia nursing specialty

ASPAN remains committed to reinvesting membership dues into programs, services, education, advocacy, and networking opportunities that support both our members and the specialty as a whole.
