Professional Experience:
Tara is a dedicated nursing professional with over 30 years of diverse clinical experience, including labor and delivery, postpartum, pediatrics, the operating room, and perianesthesia care. For more than two decades, she has held leadership roles within perianesthesia, demonstrating a strong commitment to excellence in patient care and team development. Tara has been a Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) for 20 years, reflecting her deep expertise and passion for pediatric care. Her journey with the American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (ASPAN) began when she presented a poster and spoke at national conferences—experiences that inspired her to take a more active role within the organization. Attending multiple ASPAN national conferences has fueled her enthusiasm for contributing at the national level and engaging with colleagues who share her dedication to advancing perianesthesia nursing.
