Start time for reversals clarification 3173 1

In the new ASPAN 2023-2024 book page 132, number 11, it suggests 2-hour observation post reversal agent given. To clarify, is that only reversals for sedation/pain and not paralytics Is this only if the sedation/pain med reversal is given in the PACU What if a reversal is given in the OR prior to patient coming out to PACU Should the PACU nurse be using the medication reversal time that was given in the OR and holding the patient 2-hours after that time

Anesthesia orders for PACU 4912 3

I would like to know what's the standard orders you have when a patient arrives to PACU from surgery. Is it already in place in your institutions when patient arrives in PACU . Or do we have to contact anesthesia later for orders for pain/nausea.Is there an ASPAN standard in place for this or is it institution based
